Futuristic AI data center with glowing servers and network connections

Built for the AI Era: Technology Overview

Inside the world's first hyperscale data center designed from scratch for AI and machine learning workloads.

AI at scale changes everything – we've designed our infrastructure accordingly. Unlike conventional cloud data centers, an AI-focused facility must handle unprecedented power, cooling, and networking demands. Creekstone's campus is the convergence of a power plant and a supercomputer, purpose-built to train the largest models.

High-density liquid cooling infrastructure for AI servers

High-Density Compute Infrastructure

Extreme Power Density, Ready for GPUs.

Our data halls are engineered to support up to 100–150 kW per rack, a stark contrast to the 5–10 kW typical in legacy centers. State-of-the-art liquid cooling and advanced heat exchangers are standard, as air cooling is insufficient for racks drawing industrial levels of power.

We employ technologies like direct-to-chip liquid cooling for GPUs and on-site thermal storage to buffer cooling loads. These measures allow packing thousands of NVIDIA HGX or TPU units in tight proximity, essential for the low-latency GPU-to-GPU communication that massive AI training requires.

Inspired by supercomputers, our cooling technology keeps GPUs at optimal temperatures even as power spikes, enabling sustained performance without throttling.

Lightning-Fast Fabric: Unrivaled Interconnect

Training multi-billion-parameter models involves distributed computing across thousands of GPUs, demanding ultra-fast networking in the many terabits per second. Creekstone's design incorporates a high-bandwidth internal network fabric – such as InfiniBand or NVLink clustering – to ensure near-zero latency between nodes.

Our campus supports the latest generation of AI interconnects (for example, NVIDIA's NVLink with 1.8 TB/s GPU-to-GPU bandwidth), allowing clusters to operate as one coherent machine. This is complemented by robust outward connectivity: dual 100 Gbps (or 400 Gbps) fiber links to major internet exchanges, enabling AI models to ingest and distribute data globally in real-time.

This combination of internal and external bandwidth ensures low-latency data flow at every level, a capability traditional facilities often struggle to match due to network topology or distance constraints.

Dynamic power and thermal management concept background

Engineered for Burst and Lull: Dynamic Power & Thermal Management

Real-time adaptive power and cooling for peak AI performance.

Unlike steady-state enterprise IT loads, AI training jobs exhibit cyclical patterns – intense GPU computation phases followed by brief I/O or checkpoint pauses – causing oscillating power draw and heat output. Creekstone's integrated power system reacts instantly: on-site generators and battery systems load-follow the data center, ramping output up or down within seconds to match demand. This fine-grained control is more efficient and stable than relying on a remote utility grid.

Similarly, our cooling system is outfitted with sensors and adaptive controls to handle rapid thermal swings. Coolant flow and chilled water temperatures auto-adjust in real time based on rack heat load. The benefit to customers is higher reliability and performance, as the facility can smooth out spikes (avoiding overload) and prevent thermal hotspots that might slow down AI processors.

This power-aware data center design is crucial for AI: it reduces wasted energy and ensures consistent training times, free from downtime or slowdowns due to power or cooling limitations.

Enterprise-Grade Security & Reliability

While Creekstone drives innovation at a startup pace, we build upon the best practices of hyperscale data centers for unparalleled uptime and security. Our facilities are designed with Tier III/Tier IV principles, featuring redundant power feeds, N+1 generators and cooling, and a 24/7 on-site operations team.

The remote nature of our campus enhances physical security, which includes gated access, comprehensive surveillance, and stringent access control protocols. We are also planning for SOC2 and ISO27001 compliance to meet rigorous data security standards.

Innovative doesn't mean unproven. We provide a robust and secure foundation suitable for the mission-critical workloads of Fortune 500 companies and government entities.
